Link Love

♥ I must confess, I’m a wee bit behind on my spring cleaning (which now may turn into more of “summer cleaning”), but A Song For the Birds put together a list of cleaning tips from bloggers, moms, and grandmas to help tackle those chores!

Can We Guess Your Age Based On Your Opinions About Harry Potter?
♥ Punctuation can be used to make a point, though reading something of length can turn into a physical strain. I love the fact that a UBC student wrote a 52,438 word dissertation with no punctuation, but I don’t know if my brain could process reading that long of a piece sans punctuation. The point Stewart makes is one worth exploring in academia, however.

What fun links have you found this week?

  • Oh gosh, I’m 15 according to the Harry Potter test! (I’m 25 actually)

    • Haha 🙂 Mine was pretty spot on, but I’m curious to see how it pans out for others!

  • Apparently I am 41. I can live with this.

  • Sonya

I love the “Can we guess your age?” quizzes on Buzzfeed because they’re quite often woefully inaccurate, and I find it hilarious–this one guessed that I’m 15!

  • Apparently I’m 22 and I am totally OK with that.
Also, in that scene in GoT I laughed so hard I had to pause it and explain to the (dutch) bfnd about less and fewer.

    • GoT is not the kind of show I would expect a grammar joke in, but I’m so glad they did, haha!

  • Annie P.

Just turned 26; BF guessed 27. Not bad!

  • That quiz guessed I was 15, well…that’s nearly 10 years off hahah!! I also love all these Japan links! It makes me want to go back so bad! and also, AWESOME about that new island! Whoa. Science blows my mind.

    • It seems to be either totally on spot or completely off. Oh, Buzzfeed!
