  • SO true with the Japanese! I’m always telling my students never to use them. It’s the first flag that tells you you’re speaking Japanese with a noob haha.

    That emotional intelligence one was good too. I’d not heard of The Atlantic until recently, but they seem to have consistantly great articles.

    • The Atlantic does seem to be spot on; their articles just pop up around my feeds and emails and I find myself sucked in.

      Yes! “You” is a total noob alert! And yet every online, non-college course Japanese “lesson” teaches that like, first. Ugh.
