I’ve been honored to introduce a number of you to Neil Gaiman through the NovelTea Book Club selection this October. While I talk about him and generally sing his praises all the time around these parts, a lot of you have been asking where a good place to start with Gaiman’s books is, and many of you ventured into his dreary, yet magical world via The Graveyard Book.
Rather than give my normal “book report” style review of The Graveyard Book, I opted to try to bring this month’s Google Hangout discussion to you all (since for some ridiculous reason, I still can’t get Google Hangouts to cooperate, let alone the pre-recorded “Hangouts On Air” segment). It’s not the same as actually partaking in our chat, but it gives you more of an insight into some of the members thoughts on the book, as well as my own.
If you don’t want spoilers, I suggest you skip the video since we do discuss the ending to some degree, but otherwise, enjoy!
